Color Management for Architectural Photography

Understanding color space and color management can sometimes be tricky in architectural photography, especially with multiple light sources in an interior space. We believe that our job here at David Meaux Photography is to produce images with color that accurately represent the design in a pleasing way. We use X-Rite calibration technology and color targets to deal with multiple light sources, along with a calibrated monitor to give us confidence in the representation of colors in our final images. It is this level of attention to color that provides the impact of our work. This latest project is a key example of how we ensure that the key colors in the scene are faithfully reproduced and not turned into a purely saturated sky blue cyan.
